"NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine"
So I am here today, to speak on nyc new york liquid lipshine. When I first got it I was type excited! It was a reasonable size , the color was of a light in between shade of brown. So when I opened it , it surprisingly a brush stick. The brush stick was soft to the touch. When I put it on, I notice it wasn't heavy in color as most lip stainers I've tried. It was very glossy and gives a punch to your puckered lips. I love this lipgloss. And it stands up very well every time you add the application. I give this product an A I don't really have any complaints, it is also not sticky like some other products I have tried in the past. The only thing I could say it can last a little longer. Overall I would recommend this product to a friend of a friend, hey why not , recommend to anyone you who love glosses!
I am a avid person when it come to neutral lip glosses as, I go a little out to try something new and different out of the box once in a blew but I love this gloss especially! Thanks once again influenster! :)

Kiss Nails Dress (In Review)
I actually enjoyed using my kiss nails dress. I believe I got a leopard/cheetah design. They were somewhat intriguing to put on. My BF was amazed to see the designs that he is was trying to figure out what they were ...(LOL) When I first got them I was also intrigued what design they were. I did look them up to see which one, But I just put both types of animals because I can't recall which one it is closer to because it is late, but I decided to do a mini-review on them on anyway. I think they are cute, exotic and different as this is the first for me to do this type of design. I like nail art, but this was out of the ordinary, so I was excited to really try them. Since I have a few left I would try them in different forms. I give them a plus, because I love the nail art, was a little tricky to shape them up, but rather than that I love the Kiss Nail Dress....funky-delic!

Quaker Real Medley's Oat Review
Here is a review on the the peaches almond quaker oats medley. I am a little quirky, when it comes to oatmeal, especially when it has fruit. I can taste/eat it dry and taste really great to me. So I like how it taste when it is dry, but I decided to go the full length and have my oatmeal warm. My true take on the oatmeal, I love oatmeal don't get wrong but I find that I do not like how it has so many almonds in this type version. To me the almonds were a bit overwhelming. I was not an almond lover because I use to try almond chocolate bars and they would really taste funny to me and I could not see how others like them. But I find fresh almonds from the bag not coated taste really good. But as I say I still am overwhelmed how this version was so I was kind disappointed. I did go out and buy another version the apple one with walnuts. I was really hesitant to buy it because it contains a different kind of nut. But I decided to say what the heck give it a try maybe you will like it better , because I really am a apple oatmeal fan that's why I bite the bullet and say give it another try. So for the Peaches version I give it a D based on the almond factor. Hopefully I like the one I bought. So here's to quakers oats and trying to find the best version for me.

Influenster Christmas Voxbox Addition
So I have been waiting forever to get an Influenster voxbox!!!!!
I've been with them since the beginning of this year I believe or in the middle of 2011, anywhoooo, I been with it so long, that they had made changes to the website. Which I really do love the changes. I got use to the old version , so the new changes was suprising, but overall I still like the changes it's more vibrant, colorful, easy to navigate and you get to see other reviews on products you might be interested in or to see if others have the same interests as you. You get to discover also what is new on the market, or something you never tried before. Well I got my christmas voxbox on christmas eve which was exciting and nice since it was my very first one.
So here is what came in my Christmas Voxbox:
Quaker Oats Real Medleys
Peach Almond Oatmeal- contains sweet peaches, roasted almonds and multigrains
Goody's Quikstyle Brush- asorbent microfiber bristles, antimicrobial microfiber, helps inhibit the growth of bacteria, reduces water by 30% to dry quicker
Natural Energy Eboost-Pink Lemonade (boost for vitamins)
Kiss -Nail Dress
25% of to www.solesociety.com when you order your first shoes.
Overall, I love my voxbox! I would love to do future reviews for it. Thanks Influenster , Hears to a New Year. :)
Winter Protective Styling (continued)
This is the style I am wearing as a protective style and this is some pictures of how my hair was in-between protective styling. I believe my hair has flourish since protective styling.
I will have to tweak and start over in the New Year what I will incorporate in my hair journey.
I would love to get back to henna treatments or coconut treatments for the following year as they would be my main thing for balancing moisture/or protein.
As for washing , I bought the Entwine Duo Set Because I really like their products so I decided to go for the set. I said it couldn't hurt to try so why not. I only used these products twice as they are still fairly new.
The first time I washed I used both products, considering how dirty my hair really was. I love it! So far The shampoo is really cleansing and leaves the hair soft and easy to go through. It doesn't sud up as most shampoos do and it is sulfate free.
As for the conditioner I love it! It does condition and moisturize the hair. It also pops my curl pattern when I wash. :) The only thing I could say is after you wash, you do need to seal the hair to keep in the moisture.
This is where the Entwine Hydratoring Butter would come in. But do the lost I incorporate the shea moisture for sealing. Which works just as fine.
Overall I like how everything is coming so far.
I am really a co-washing type person , but since I love Entwine so much, I had to put my trust and get it. Will I ever go back to AVC rinsing??? Yes. I believe I will switch my routine if necessary, maybe for the spring/summer and use only the conditioner and when, I do (protective styling incorporate these products).
As for what is to come in the following year, I will discuss further on deep treatments.... incorporating a solid regimen, or will I still submit to inner mini -pjism...LOL Happy Hair Journey!
Winter Protective Styling
It has been awhile since I have posted on my blog. I have been through a lot so I couldn't post what I have been doing currently at the moment. I have been displaced as a Hurricane Sandy Victim. So as much as I wanted to say what I've been upto I just didn't have the chance. So , I am sorry if you have been wondering what is up , or if I am going to do any new blog posts.
I lost a few products from my Journey, and was lucky to even save some, or get some from volunteers. I did spent a little money when I could to get a few items to incorporate at the time of the incident since I was displaced and couldn't do what I mostly do in the comfort of my own environment.
So, just to get into it, this is what I have been doing protective styling I started after being displaced by the storm. I was lucky enough to save my shampoo and conditioner I recently bought. Not so lucky to save the cream set though except for one item, which is my argon oil. I washed with what I have which is what I will show you in a few. I braided my hair and installed my vanessa hair clips in. This has been working lovely for since that time.
So overall I have been protective styling from the middle of october until now which is december. I would like to continue this in the beginning of next year until early march spring.
I did leave my hair out for two days before I installed the hair again. I also make sure I moisture/seal the hair in-between taking down and washing.
Here are things I used and pictures will be posted (see side pictures)
Shea Moisture Original Version ( I really like this product not too bad/replacement because I lost what I normally use)
Mane N Tale Detangler ...I use this on the weave to keep it smooth but it is also good for your natural hair to detangle and smooth and keep the hair moisturize also.
Shampoo and Conditioner- Entwine Duo- Already bought love the way it washes my hair makes it nice and soft feels moisturized when wet.
My Argan Oil.
I had a Entwine Set but sadly that got washed up so I had to throw it out :(
My Hydrator cream is what I use and normally love, to do my hair styles and moisturize my hair. As for the creme styler jelle I wasn't too fond of it makes the hair defined but hard and crunchy, the cream de mold for edges was cool something that could last long but doesn't hard tighten little side hairs that tend to stick out. But it something good to use to touch up your edges.
I also bought some clips and goody combs to help with future styles in the future.
